On Tuesday, September 29, 2020 the Program on International Financial Systems (PIFS) hosted A Retrospective on Financial Regulation, a virtual roundtable. The event featured a panel discussion with Jay Clayton, Chairman of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Jelena McWilliams, Chairman of the U.S. Federal Deposit and Insurance Commission, Andrew Olmem, Former NEC Deputy Director, and Randal Quarles, Vice-Chairman for Supervision of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. The discussion was moderated by Hal S. Scott, President of PIFS.
