Digital Assets Program

On June 23-26, 2025, the Program on International Financial Systems (PIFS) and Harvard Law School Executive Education (HLSEE) will arrange a four-day executive education program on “The Evolving Role of Digital Assets in the Global Financial System” at Harvard. This program is co-sponsored by the Harvard Kennedy School’s Digital Assets Policy Project.

The program will be led by Professors Howell Jackson and Hal Scott (of Harvard Law School) and Tim Roughgarden (of Columbia University) as well as former public officials such as Timothy Massad and William Hinman; and it will include perspectives from market participants. The program is designed to offer a comprehensive understanding of blockchain technology and digital assets, the regulatory framework for digital assets in key jurisdictions, and ongoing policy debates and reforms. The Harvard course website is available here, and the program fee is $12,000 per private sector attendee and $8,000 per public sector attendee (travel and accommodation are not included).

Scholarship Opportunity:

Government authorities in both advanced and emerging markets are invited to nominate an official or employee to participate in the program free of charge. If you are interested in this opportunity, please contact us at info@pifsinternational.org.

PIFS thanks the supporters of our Regulatory Education Scholarships, which helps expand government officials’ access to this and other programs.
