Drew Beatty

SENIOR FELLOW

Andrew Beatty is a Senior Fellow at the Program on International Financial Systems, where he performs research on international financial regulations, coordinates training programs for regulators, and contributes to international symposia and other special events that focus on global financial policy issues.  Mr. Beatty is also a Senior Research Fellow at the Committee on Capital Markets Regulation, where he engages in similar matters focused on the U.S. financial system.

Prior to these roles, Mr. Beatty was an associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in New York in their Complex Litigation & Trials group, where he represented clients in both state and federal court cases with a particular focus on securities litigation. Before becoming an attorney, he worked in commodity derivatives sales and trading at BP and Wells Fargo.
