Kristina J. Vorndran

CHIEF OF STAFF

Kristina Vorndran is Chief of Staff at the Program on International Financial Systems (PIFS) and the Committee on Capital Markets Regulation (CCMR). She works closely with senior leadership to advance strategic priorities and coordinate initiatives across both organizations.

Before joining PIFS and CCMR, Ms. Vorndran worked at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), focusing on technology, media, and telecommunications. Prior to BCG, she served as a Wealth Advisor to ultra-high net worth clients at Mariner Wealth Advisors. She is a CFP® professional and holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor℠ (CRPC®) designation.

Ms. Vorndran also founded a financial literacy platform used in more than 50 countries that has been featured by publications including Forbes, Experian, and MSN. Additionally, she has spoken at national conferences on financial literacy.

Ms. Vorndran holds an MBA from MIT, where she focused on enterprise management and artificial intelligence, and a Master in Public Policy from Harvard, where she focused on economics and public policy. She additionally holds a Master of Science in Personal Financial Planning and earned her bachelor’s degree summa cum laude, focused on entrepreneurship and public relations. 

Outside of work, Kristina is a black belt in Shaolin Kempo Karate and a competitive Latin ballroom dancer. She was also the first female to win a U.S. national championship in formula kart racing and represented Team USA in international motorsports competitions.
