John Gulliver
KENNETH C. GRIFFIN EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
John Gulliver leads the Program on International Financial Systems (PIFS) as Executive Director. PIFS partners with Harvard Law School and other institutions to host international symposia (U.S.-China, U.S.-Europe and U.S.-Japan) and regulatory education programs on policy issues impacting the global financial system. PIFS educational programs reach thousands of government officials at securities regulators and central banks around the world each year.
Gulliver also serves as Executive Director of the Committee on Capital Markets Regulation (CCMR), where he leads the Committee’s work to shape U.S. financial policy. CCMR’s membership includes more than 40 leading global financial institutions, former policymakers, and academics. He also serves as an executive member of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s Investor Advisory Committee, established by the 2010 Dodd-Frank Act. He has testified before the U.S. House Committee on Financial Services; his work has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, and Bloomberg; and he has appeared on CNBC. He is a graduate of Harvard Law School and the University of Manitoba.
