PIFS seeks to enhance the ability of government officials to develop domestic policy and participate effectively in international regulatory bodies by offering a cutting-edge curriculum in each program and collaborating with academics, senior public policymakers, and industry leaders to teach these programs.
PIFS offers regulatory training programs to junior and senior regulators from developed, developing, and emerging markets. Regulators from each type of market and at each level of seniority faces their own set of unique challenges. PIFS’ regulatory training programs are designed to meet the needs of the particular type of regulator attending each program.
To ensure that regulators from all types of countries and markets can benefit from PIFS’ programs, PIFS provides full-tuition scholarships to regulators from emerging market countries that otherwise would not be able to afford a Harvard educational experience.
