PIFS conducts research and capacity-building initiatives designed to enhance productive cross-border dialogue on the financial relationship between the United States and China. From 2018 to 2022, PIFS partnered with the PBC School of Finance at Tsinghua University to arrange an annual policy development seminar for Chinese financial regulatory officials at the China Securities Regulatory Commission. More recently, PIFS has launched a multi-year partnership with the People’s Bank of China to conduct research and host annual conferences that explore the value to each country of the U.S.-China financial relationship.
