India - US Symposia

The Program on International Financial Systems and the National Insurance Academy (NIA) of India hosted the inaugural Symposium on Building the Financial System of the 21st Century: An Agenda for India and the United States in January 2016, attracting senior financial leaders, high-ranking government officials, and distinguished academics from the United States and India for intensive, off-the-record dialogue on issues affecting international capital markets.

PIFS also hosted an event in 2017 that took place in New Delhi, India featuring the Minister of Commerce and Industry for the Government of India, the Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Board of India, and the Deputy Assistant Secretary, Western Hemisphere and Southeast Asia, of the U.S. Department of the Treasury.

Latin America - US Symposia

The Program on International Financial Systems entered its sixth year of hosting Latin America-U.S. Symposia in 2017. This event attracts senior financial leaders, high-ranking government officials, and distinguished academics from the United States and Latin America for intensive, off-the-record dialogue on issues affecting international capital markets.
